Dear guests, Traditionally at Christmas holidays we start preparations for the upcoming tourist season and we begin to take the reservations. Judging by the number of inquiries we already received, another successful season is ahead of us. We kindly asked everybody who contacted us to for a little patience because the guests that previously visited us have the priority in choosing the desired period. If you are thinking about vacations at Kaprije, we would suggest to send us your booking request soon, particularly if you are interested to come in the high season (July and August).
Before we inform you about the news we are preparing for the upcoming season, here is the review of improvements we introduced during this year:
With newly coloured facade and balcony fence, the house got a fresh shine. The terrace has been equipped with new chairs and teak tables. Large white lanterns with wax candles create romantic mood in a dinner under stars.
In order to enable comfortable sunbathing by the pool and to create the ambient of an authentic antique Mediterranean terrace, we expanded the area around the pool and paved it with carefully selected natural stones from the Sibenik surrounding.
Apartment Rustico got the new look, so now you might not even recognize it. The walls are painted in warm colours inspired by facades of ancient Kaprije houses, in line with the apartment's name. The refrigerator has been replaced by the new one, somewhat larger and with a separate freezer. Satellite TV and DVD home theatre now in apartment Rustico too Digital satellite TV channels enable our guests to stay in touch with the news from their homeland. Movie enthusiasts are delighted with the newly installed DVD home theatre with Dolby Digital 5+1 speakers system and a movie collection.
Here are the news we plan for the upcoming season, for further improvement of the comfort of your vacation: Pool water heating system A solar water heater has been installed to prolong the swimming season. Now the water should achieve pleasant temperature already for the Easter holidays, much earlier than the sea becomes warm enough.
The terrace will get a solid canopy that should let you enjoy in an open-air lunch or dinner even on a rainy day. And in a hot summer afternoon it will provide a pleasant shade. More comfort in apartment Lavender With a large dishwasher (12 sets capacity) in apartment Lavender, you will have more time to enjoy your vacation. Electrical oven will let you experiment with new recipes, and espresso maker will give you the pleasure of a full coffee taste. Free Internet access If you would like to read your e-mail, contact your friends and family, or check the weather forecast while on vacation, you do not need to bring your computer and bother with the Internet access any more. Apartment Lavender is now equipped with a PC with 24h Internet connection and unlimited usage free of charge. Other planned improvements: - bathroom renovation in apartment Rustico - pavement of the lower part of the house facade with white stone - rain hovel above the entrance to apartment Lavender - telescope for exploring stars and galaxies (Kaprije island has the advantage of clear sky thanks to low light pollution) - organization of guided fishing and night fishing trips
Our Web pages are regularly updated with new content: Translation of Web site to four languages Along with Croatian and English version, complete Web site is now also available in German and Italian language. This way we would like to get closer to our numerous guests from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy. Update of the on-line copy of Book of Impressions
