Dear guests, At the beginning, let us wish you year 2007 full of happiness, health and nice weather! The holiday season seems so long ago as we have been busy making improvements and kicking-off some work to provide additional services for you. We are really looking forward to this new season and we can’t wait for spring, arrival of warmer weather and our first guests!
Before we get into some of the new features and services for this season, let’s first briefly reflect on the last year's improvements. Refurbishment of apartment Rustico Before the beginning of last season we completely refurbished apartment Rustico. We laid new floor and wall tiles, and refreshed the walls with a new layer of paint. We installed new kitchen and renewed the dishes. In the bathroom we mounted a shower cabin and new accessories. We redecorated the living room too, replacing some of the old furniture.
Another last year's large-scale intervention was the terrace enlargement. Now both apartments have almost 2m wide balconies, enough for comfortable dining or relaxing in a deck-chair or hammock with a sea view. Balconies and external stairway got new tiles. Furnishing apartment Lavender's terrace We installed a fold-away 3m-wide sunshade on the terrace of our more luxurious apartment. We mounted two Brazilian hammocks and a big table with chairs.
Our patio got a large concrete bench with comfortable cushions. We built a stone-paved path in the garden. Other additions We made unique wall clocks and nightstand lamps for both apartments, as well as info-panels containing the sailing schedule and a map of the island with marked location and photos of the most beautiful beaches. We have new pillows and mattress-covers (mattresses were bought a year earlier). We cleaned the boat that we rent to our guests and we covered it with a new layer of protective paint.
We hope you will be happy to hear about the new facilities for the upcoming season: - swimming pool (concrete construction, 550 cm long) - air-conditioning for apartment Lavender - heating (electric in apartment Lavender, wood-fueled in apartment Rustico) - satellite TV and CD player in apartment Rustico too - telephone - expansion of DVD collection with 20 well known film titles - new bicycle - baby bed (upon request of Lavender guests) - beach umbrellas (with light portable stands) A trail to the beach in Nozdra cove is being constructed. Diving center Jadranska Galathea will operate in Kaprije this season. They offer diving trips and kayak rental.
